Neologism of the Week: Ecophagy

Ecophagy (Eek-Oh-Fay-Jee)
Ecophagy is a term originally coined by Robert Freitas in 2000 that means the literal consuming of an entire ecosystem. It is derived from the Greek "οικος" (oikos), which refers to a "house" or "household", and Greek φᾰγεῖν phagein "to eat."
